PRIVACY
We collect what we need to ship your order, answer your messages and read your stories. We don’t sell it, and we don’t follow you around the internet.
WHAT WE COLLECT
- When you buy something, your name, shipping address and email go to Square so it can take payment and ship your order. Your card is entered on Square’s own page and never touches this site.
- When you join merch drops, your email.
- When you send a story or write to us, whatever you put in the form: your name, your email, the story, and any file you attach.
- In your own browser only: your cart, where you left off in a story, and your sketchbook drawing. None of that is sent to us.
HOW WE USE IT
- To ship your order and send you updates about it.
- To write back to you.
- To email you about merch drops, if you signed up.
- To read your story, and if it’s picked, to share it on the channel.
WHO ELSE SEES IT
A few services help run the site. Each one gets only what it needs and has its own privacy policy.
- Square takes payments, handles orders and checks discount codes.
- Netlify hosts this site and delivers the form messages to us.
- Google: the stream schedule comes from Google Calendar, and story thumbnails load from YouTube.
- The podcast host: story audio plays straight from the podcast feed.
COOKIES
This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing follows you to other sites.
YOUR CHOICES
- Want off the merch drop list? Reply to any of our emails, or write to us, and we’ll take you off.
- Want to know what we have about you, or have it deleted? Email boozeandbooz@gmail.com. We keep only what the law makes us keep for taxes and records.
- California residents have the right to know what we collect and to ask us to delete it. We don’t sell personal information.
KEEPING IT SAFE
The whole site runs over HTTPS, and payments go through Square. No system is perfect, but we do our best with your information.
CHANGES AND CONTACT
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Questions: boozeandbooz@gmail.com.
